About LxLeaders
LxLeaders was founded with the vision to grow more mindful and aware organisations: organisations where leaders have presence, are value driven and effective, and employees are engaged and empowered to do their best work and are thriving rather than surviving.
Mindfulness informs our work but is not limited by it. We use a variety of practical tools and models in an approach that enables us to bring change at a deeper, more impactful level, to create the kind of change that forward-thinking organisations seek.
Through extensive experience of mindfulness, other mind and awareness tools and leadership training, we know the importance of providing training that is accessible, relevant and immediately applicable. Training that uses the language leaders speak, and that directly addresses the challenges and opportunities they face.
“I’d recommend it to others in my management team, and to other Heads of Function, and would do this because I feel that this programme can be useful to anyone in strengthening and building upon their leadership behaviours.
I felt that the structure of the programme provided the mindfulness tools as a framework to apply to each individual’s specific needs”
Our Founders
Annika Wager
Annika has 20 years of experience in pan-European project management and leading remote teams. Her first-hand experience of leadership roles is coupled with her experience in training and integrating mindfulness into the workplace.
She is an ILM7 executive coach and became a BAMBA (British Association of Mindfulness Based Approaches) accredited mindfulness coach in 2014. Since then, she has specialised in workplace clients, particularly at leadership and organisational levels, working both with individual and groups of leaders.
She has a particular interest in the growing field of interpersonal mindfulness for leaders and the impact it has within the workplace.
Andrew McNeill
Until 2018 Andrew was a director in the UK Civil Service leading major projects and programmes. During a 25-year career he held a number of high-pressure roles including Head of Programme Assurance for the Ministry of Justice and responsibilities for the London 2012 Olympics & Paralympics.
He has found mindfulness to be incredibly valuable in leading himself and his teams in high intensity environments. He trained to become a BAMBA registered trainer to enable him to share these techniques and skills with other leaders.
In 2018 he wrote his book Organisational Mindfulness: A How to Guide and has taught corporate clients including Bloomberg, Ince and the UK Civil Service.
“Thank you to Annika and Andrew for guiding me to lead with curiosity and an open mind”
“Coaches were very good and excellent advocates for the subject”
“Andrew and Annika are both extremely welcome, honest and credible practitioners. Extremely polite in their asks of us but also resolutely held firm in their beliefs and approaches when pushed”
